Twenty days before the spring harvest, our tea fields are draped in traditional shade cloths. This intentional darkness forces the tea plant to struggle, creating an extraordinary surge in chlorophyll and L-Theanine – the rare amino acid responsible for alpha-brainwave production. the first harvest

We exclusively use Ichiban-cha, or “first flush” leaves, harvested during the fleeting weeks of early spring. These are the youngest, most tender leaves on the bush, brimming with the nutrient density of a plant that has rested all winter. By selecting only this first harvest, we ensure a powder that possesses a vibrant, electric green hue and a natural, creamy sweetness. It is the difference between a mass-produced commodity and a true ceremonial grade ritual.

Heat is the enemy of fresh matcha. To ensure your ritual remains potent, our leaves are processed using advanced cold-milling technology. Unlike high-speed industrial grinders that can “scorch” the tea and turn it bitter, our precise milling process maintains a strictly low temperature. This preserves the delicate antioxidants and the vibrant, “electric” green color of the leaf.
